Have you ever wanted to improve the appearance of your smile? Are your teeth straight? Are there gaps between your teeth? Are there old discolored fillings or blemishes that detract from your smile? Do you have worn down, chipped or even missing teeth?
At the dental office of Trent Young, DDS we use the latest techniques and materials to restore your valuable smile. Cosmetic dentistry improves appearance and enhances self-esteem. Composite fillings have replaced traditional silver colored amalgams, while gold has given way to porcelain in the creation of bridges. Other techniques like teeth whitening and veneers can improve the color and/or shape of your natural smile.
Dental bonding is composed of a ceramic resin that is placed onto the tooth and cured immediately by light. Dental bonding can:
Repair tooth decay damage
Improve tooth alignment
Fill gaps between teeth
Cosmetic Dental Bonding
Additionally, dental bonding is cost effective, looks natural and improves tooth shape. Cosmetic dentistry bonding may require replacement due to wear and gradual discoloration over time.
For this reason some patients prefer more permanent solutions such as dental crowns, bridges and porcelain veneers. All these options should be discussed with your dentist.

Over time our teeth stain and become darker. Teeth whitening is a process for making your smile brighter and more attractive. In the office of Dr. Trent Young we use the proven method of whitening that allows the patient to be in control of their whitening outcome.
We take impressions and make custom trays that hold the whitening gel against the teeth. The trays are worn 2-4 hours a day when it is convenient for the patient. Depending on the whiteness desired, the trays can be worn anywhere from 3 to 14 days.
